I really really tried my best to like this couple, but damn… they are both beyond repair i can understand the writer’s efforts to justify the male lead actions and how pity and miserable his upbringing was, i could sympathize with that but when he took the highest power in the country he was no longer weak and could clarify his doings and feelings, but nooo he remained a piece of trash and treated the female lead badly and was a coward by never facing her with his feelings or even the reasons behind his actions, tbh the whole manhwa was carried by the female lead, she understood her noble background history, she made peace with it, she tried her best asking for forgiveness of things she never did since she was only naïve and knew nothing but luxury and love, yet that trash only looked from afar assuming stuff and sometimes blaming her for stuff, i reeeally wished she ended up with that sweet soldier rayan, he was warm, honest, loving, and never judged her, tbh I’m disappointed that it’s always the female’s job to correct everything and understands and forgives everyone, she deserved much better then this, and i conclude my tantrum here
