bruh i mean the emperor im assuming since i forgot, he must have concubines in the palace already right if he was sleeping around with the goal to conceive an heir, why was he sleeping around outside the palace making this whole ass mess in the first place.
why did the author have to write him as someone "devoted" to the empress and why does he look good wish he was uglier then i wont be dissapointed.
i fear its really just poor writing that's why there's a lot of wasted plot points, wish the mc has some means to go back to hell atleast. what made me stay interested was the action scenes with mc but now shes a nerfed noblewoman
