this story seems to have ruined the genre for me because of just how PERFECT it was

every single character has been written in a beautifully multi-dimensional way, and the protagonists are unforgettable. neither of them are the typical leads of this genre: they’re as realistic as it can get in a story meant to help readers escape to a better world.

the art style leaves nothing to be desired. you can tell how each character was drawn lovingly with their individual personality traits represented in their appearance. especially loved how sauvure has the habit of touching/covering his scar whenever he’s being emotionally vulnerable

i adored how the MC/ML aren’t flawless. despite being intelligent and hardworking people, these two did not have everything handed to them. the MC wasn’t weirdly OP even after regressing to the past and wasn’t like an all-knowing psycho.

the writer explored the butterfly effect really well without spelling it out. honestly, this story could be a TV show and would do SO well competing against shit like bridgerton or HoT

the kids are realistic too!! everything’s lovely

i’m going to miss the arno lineup forevermore

100/10 story. deserves to be in the hall of fame
