Before Osiris fully absorbed(?) Anubis, Seth offered himself to Osiris instead of Anubis. Like Anubis and Seth switched places? That's why Seth went to duat.
Actually in this chapter horus saw 2 visions. 1st was a vision from future (moon eye power) he saw seth willingly give up on his existence FOR horus. Before this horus was heartbroken but this vision cleared off his doubts regarding Seth's priorities for him aka seth putting him first.
The second vision is special. Its left ambiguous for now abt what exactly he saw but we got clues like horus disoriented confused look when thoth says it was future. He's like huh? No... also he drops all honorifics n formal speech suddenly and mind u he didnt cry seeing seth choosing to fade but what he saw in vision 2 made him cry. Also there was the wadjet n light piercing symbolism panels aka what he saw in vision 2 is not future spoilers. The duat spoiler that horus saw is a common sight he sees because of moon eye not what he saw in visions. As long as moon persists at night moon eye lets u see all around (pretty useful than horus cctv birbs no? Lol)
Anubis had always been struggling since before his botched ascension cuz well his body n soul yk.. he essentially is the vessel created by osirishit and here he was swallowing him up as a resort to break seth completely ONCE again hahah sonnovabitch. But while assaulting seth realises anubis is not fully goner so he tells osirishit that he'd go to duat with him if he promises to leave anubis the fuck alone n the curtains rolled down for..now..
