i also want to point out that its kind of confusing that the king made his wifes' affair child the crown prince since he has the power to choose who is the heir. and mc lets multiple things happen to her (in this lifetime) even when she's powerless. i just wish that everyone was more.. smart? maybe... emotionally intelligent? these people have trauma and mc realizes this yet she doesn't do anything to help and only does everything she can "help" them if that makes sense. the ending was also crap cus it seems extremely rushed.
i decided to reread this since i was bored. I HATE HATE HATE how ml just falls in love with mc simply cus she doesn't want him anymore. and he isn't very romantic (in my eyes) because he constantly pushes himself into her heart. he can tell she's uncomfortable and doesn't want to be romantically involved with him yet he gets away with it cus he's supposedly a "gentleman" from their empires runours. ugh just makes me so mad. i would have been fine with an ml if it was a much more gradual change in heart with him rather than him liking a goose chase:/
