I kinda dislike how they skewed their gender roles like this. Romeo is "empress " even though he's male(he could be just "consort", why make him "empress " that is a female word?). On all the other instances even though she is the one getting pregnant it seems like Romeo is. And during s3x scene, she is looking at Romeo/they're behaving like any other straight couple havine s3x with genders swapped. Why couldn't the author make some unqiue relationship style for them and just swapped the roles with minimal effort?
