He looks quite big for a 10 year old and normally boys don't grow that much until they reach the age of 14 it's usually the girls who are taller than the boy during puberty

No it's true that girls are taller than boys when they are kids since they reach puberty before the boys when I was a kid I was taller than most kids too many ppl didn't even thought that I was a 4th or 5th grade student boys are typically tend to be shorter in height but maybe there are some boys who are taller
Dude when i was 10 i was barely 4ft tall and was shortest in my grade (im a chick) i grew an entire foot in middleschool and now im taller than most my female friends.
Never said that it wasnt common for girls to grow sooner, just meant theres hella outliers ╮(￣▽￣)╭
For me, I was around 5'6 "or 5'7" at 9-10. My friend, Nick, was taller than me by a couple of inches (though his parents were both tall). It was the same with my younger brother, he was taller than some of his class but not taller than me, then around 13 he shot past me, like a bean sprout. Tho are parents are in the 6 ft.
