Team Yigon we rise

I'm all for Yigon ditching Taekang for good and healing himself. Maybe even going to psychiatric counselling. As things are now, he's an island, and he knows that. And from this point on, he'll only trust his own guts, become his own salvation and save himself. And I can't wait for it.

He tried playing fawn to escape his brother's malicious intents, who took multiple attempts at taking his life.
He took the chance on Taekang, he tried relying on him...echoing a genuine plea for help. And what did he get? More abuse of all kinds, suspicions directed at him, disbelief and downright accusations of lying and lunacy. The betrayal my god.

Of course his trust issues are beyond repair. Taekang can get kicked to the curb or burn in hell for all I care. Whatever change of mind or in feelings he's undergone are insignificant as sawdust.

Yigon has been the most well written character of the entire story - whether it be his personality, or psychological issues or anything else.

Now as for why Yigon kind of "trusts" his brother in the current situation is because well at least Taekang isn't gonna kill him if he doesn't obey him. Nor is Taekang offering him a safe haven or basic protection from his brother for Yigon to listen to any of his arguments.

And after all, it's how Yigon's trained himself to behave for his 'hyung' for LITERAL YEARS. He's conditioned to respond in that manner, it's a question of life or death for him. I dunno about yall but from what I've heard and seen, trauma and neglect tends to majorly fuck people up in the head.

Plus, I'd say he doesn't have any other solid source to cross-reference Taekang is another reason for his decisions...but thats not the elephant in the room.

I want to see him rise, while everyone who's had the gall to wrong him are dragged down to depth of misery and karma comes to bite them in the ass twice as hard.

Now is when the real story starts imo.

The reading comprehension of this site is piss poor. (tumblr reference hehe)

True, to add to that, Yigon is stuck in an hospital room, unable to move by himself and with no mean to defend himself. Provoking his brother would put him at risk and at least by agreeing with him he is buying some time.

The only time he was stupid was between when Tae-kang threatened to break their relationship and when he did. Yigon knew their relation was fragile and should have prepared a plan B for the worst case scenario but didn't.
