Duho is ready to not let him go this time, in case you missed that panel. Also, he’s acting like he used to because Juheon was pretending not to remember him, so he did him a favor and just go with the flow.

I doubt Dohu can ever truly change his alexithymia on a fundamental level but him recognizing his feelings for Juheon and wanting to act on those feelings is indeed a pivotal change for him, regardless of how late in the game he is.

I think the biggest issue is that with Juheon also having his past and present traumas, it's difficult for him to truly understand the significance of Dohu's alexithymia. A condition that runs much deeper than the simple words "batshit crazy" he had used to describe Dohu in the beginning of their relationship.

Honestly, I think they would be perfect for each other if Juheon truly realizes this and supports Dohu with his impediment because Dohu has already showcased his ability to recognize Juheon's many faces and give him the support he needs even without realizing he's been doing so.

They could actually heal each other and it will be such a beautiful thing to see. I'm confident this is where they will end up.

The scenario would be completely different with them not together and four years later running into each other with Juheon's facade amongst the building tension in the air.
