They met back in college 4 years ago and had a bad breakup. Turns out Dohu was using Juheon for one of his projects but Juheon has trauma from people always wanting something from him but Dohu made him believe he was different but he found out and was betrayed..... Juheon's basically protecting himself cause he knows how Dohu is so he's pretending not to know him so he can not think of the past he ran away from
