Honestly it kinda weird how much Sakamoto is compared with Gintoki from Gintama because other than the white hair and the voice actor i dont think they have much in common. Like take for exsample their past Sakamoto choose to become assasin, he choose to go to this academy to learn how to kill people for money Ginoki on the other hand had to learn how to survivi from younger age alone,he didn't choose to live on the battlefield before Shoyo take him and he only choose to go to war to save his sensei and not for money or to be the "best samurai" and that's kinda the reason why i also don't much sympathy for how Sakamoto lost his friend because...he also killed a lot of people who i'm sure also had friends and families but he never mentioned how he regret it (or at least i don't remember hik saying it if he did) and Gintoki on his own choose to go to prison after the war because of his regret...
