I do think Luke is overly trusting and naive. I don't think he is wrong for not trusting Andrew's word, after all they have been boyfriends for what? Some months? Less? And this boyfriend is telling him to not trust his friends of years. Valid.

But I do think there's a line. I do want to trust both my friends and my boyfriend. I think I would take my boyfriend's words as a sign of caution and only start being suspicious of a friend if their behavior is weird or affecting me somehow. At the end, I'd directly confront them if those actions make me feel distrust towards them. After all, I can't be taking some words from my boyfriend and some weird behavior from a friend as a confirmation and a fact.

And that's what Luke should honestly do. Bruno is changing only his lines in the play, over and over, affecting Luke's performance. Sure, could be that Bruno wants everything to go perfect but c'mon, you have only been changing Luke's lines? And you act guilty and weird? Okay dude, look, I appreciate you but we have to talk, what's going on?
