Ok sooo, yes if dojin is his dad (dont know the names) then yes i am also mad. It's unfair to not even listen to ur child and only see the bad in them. Yes byul fucked up badly, but at the very least he should have listened to him. Maybe that woudl also help them improve their relationship if the father showed more interest in his son.
And i can show my frustration with a FICTIONAL character and wishing for character development (?), dont know the specific term. Cuz CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT usually happens if a character goes through some bad situations. Bruh

Being a teenager is not an excuse to treat other people like dirt. And at the moment i used "bad situation" as a method, as this is usually used to show and lead to character development. Doesnt necessarily mean sth bad has to happen TO HER (look closely at my wording), but in general so she realises her attitude
Oh and i forgot how i didnt even write that sth bad has to happen to her, but it can even be byul that goes thru sth horrible for her to realise her attitude has been wrong the whole time lul

I think you're forgetting that this girl is overcompensating on everything because she is adopted. Also, knowing Byul's personality (which is based on his mom, which makes me want to hug him and choke him when I was reading love is an illusion), she probably reached the point, waaaaay back in their childhood, where she just find Byul frustrating. And I'm gonna tell you that dealing with frustrating people would just trigger your fight or flight response making you be frustrated on them on default. Byul has also probably gotten them in trouble before. Like constantly. "You always go easy on him!" Yeah, Byul may not be the kind of kid like that guy who called him a failure, but he is still the mischievious kind. And as a cousin, I can understand why she's like that to Byul.
U're right with ur point that byul probably got her into many uncomfortable situations.
I mean, in my perfect manga world, byul wouldnt be so reckless/easily provoked and she wouldnt feel inferior to other people just cuz she's adopted and would get along with him. Cuz both had some inferior complexes (him probably due to his parents and having to be as great as them but not actually wanting to/having the talent to? And her, feeling like she has to make up for being adopted, which she - in a perfect world - wouldn't have to feel)
I think you missed the what I found obvious point of my comment. I think you need to consider why you're so mad at this young girl so much, because unfortunately, it's much easier to judge female characters because of unintentional sexism. I'm not even saying you're doing it consciously. A LOT of people in fandoms and especially when reading yaoi do it. But you're like wishing something bad on her for her character development, but not the man for the same thing. That's my point.
The misogyny in yaoi fandoms lowkey needs to be studied.
I hate that girl, the daughter of the beta and alpha. It feels that she sees herself as better than byul(mc). Maybe it steems from insecurities cuz he had all the potential, and she only had good grades. But she's so rude and unempathetic (?). She blames byul for the fight, yeah he fought the guy and should be punished, but he was provoked by a topic which is known to everyone to be sensitive for him. And she just blames him?
