Please someone recap us! I’m completely lost, specially with the part of them talking about destroying the world like Eve is not the demon king or sth
They don't know he's the demon king yet apparently, though I think Kiriki might have figured it out just then when he said he'd destroy the world anyway, idk how much detail you were looking for lol but all that's happened so far is they've travelled around trying to gain power and stop the hero from getting these sources of power so demon lord can defeat him when the big battle happens and destroy (or rule?) the world with gozu, they've happened to run into a bunch of ppl who the hero collects in the video game to be on his team when he defeats the demon lord, but everything's slightly off, and gozu suspects it's because of his presence. so there's the wizard boy who's grandma gets saved instead of dying, the muscle guy whose town survives instead of getting killed by the dragon, i think there's someone else but I've forgotten, and now the "saintess" or priestess or smth with the healing powers who is now a guy instead of a woman and doesn't even rly like his role very much and wants to go into medical science, so things are getting more and more different from the video game. And they've cut before to mid scenes of the hero actually going on his journey/travelling to defeat the demon king who everyone thinks has "awoken" because of more monster attacks or smth but doesn't know is eve, but we dk what actually is gonna happen with the hero yet because a lot of his team member's motivations for joining him don't exist anymore and we haven't seen them join him, so that's kinda where we're at rn.
Oh also we've seen demon lord (idk why his name has left me rn, it'll come back lol) and gozu become less and less insidious(?) as they've coincidentally managed to save all these people and become sort of friends or smth akin to that with the people they've saved, including the hero's supposed team members, but that obviously conflicts with their intended goal of destroying the world so I reckon smth will happen with that as well - you can see it here as well how gozu is clearly upset by the idea of roffey dying but demon lord is still sticking to his guns a bit more about prioritising gozu over the lives of everyone else so it's interesting. Very long tho omg
Oh I just realised you might have js meant the beach scene ......... oops idk they're killing a tentacle monster that's taken over the sea because of the Roffey guy being unhappy about smth, probably to do with gyani I'd reckon
