but omg the way that the abuse was toned down in the manga compared to the novel is night and day, like i remember reading when ML walked in on caesar salad beating on ruby some chaps ago but novel vers had her significantly more bloody and beaten. imagine how much worse this could’ve been with a scarier mature rating…
