There is romance, but not now and it's a really slow burn... maybe in a few chapters ^^

So quick question, did the emperor’s identity as sir knight revealed? Also is there progression to their romance? Is there a romance at all? Hos slow is this slow burn? Like a milipede? A snail? A tortoise? Like my ability to finish my thesis?
