I would pay good money for a story like this where MC just wants to be with her loved ones and couldn't give a shit about being the love interest of the crown prince......but for her to actually end up doing what she wanted initially. Just save the kingdom or whatever, bid the prine adieu, and go back. I get that plans change and you could ague that she will eventually find another form of happiness by helping people and being a crown princess, but that sounds so bleak to me. She will have to abide to strict nobility rules and restrain her freedom....hey, I'm definitely biased but I really hate this concept regardless of how many times I come across it.
It is more palatable to me when someone who was a pampered noble becomes a crown princess than a free spirited MC....kind of like "Had I not seen the sun, I could have borne the shade"
