This has a very interesting plot to far, the execution is all over the place. It's like they're adapting only the "highest grossing" scenes, so now there's just this feeling of something missing (plus a super fast pace) even when scenes are good... also, the FL may be physically strong and very headstrong, but she's also so stupid it's infuriating not in a "dumb" or "airheaded" kind of way, but in a "everyone is playing politics here and it's clear she hates (and has no experience) dealing with that." It’s a flaw that makes a lot of sense for her character (whatever her personality is, she WAS a sheltered princess so) but it really gets on my nerves when everyone around her is clearly playing at something (especially Kenneth) but she just takes them at face value... it's not even a reading-people thing, but a reading-your-situation thing. She's come to a whole ass different country to avenge her father but she expects Kenneth to... stick close to her? Also, he's talked about wanting to destroy his country, and only AFTER his sister explains the whole Iris thing does she think "oh wait does he have a reason behind doing that shit?" And she keeps going "what does he MEAN by becoming worthy of him?!?!?" bro he's trying to get you education WHAT do you think he wants?? Kenneth is another piece of work entirely... but I know we're still far from getting a peek at his POV/his true feelings so I'm just holding back on justing him for now. Still, it looks like the front he's keeping is the only thing holding him together. My man seems crazyyy
