I liked the side story about Katryn and Henry. Will admit the story about Anna and Rhynon was a bit random? Loved seeing all their kids growing up. BUT... Cliff's ending lowkey left a bitter taste for me. Everything isn't so black or white. Cliff was manipulated by the author. Yes, he ultimately made his bed and had to lay in it, but I would've been OK with seeing a redemption arc for him. Of course he would lose the Dukedom to Killian, but he could have left to run the lands Papa Duke was originally planning to give to Killian. IDK. Yeah....He was an a-hole, but he was also the product of the Duke's raising and was always slated to be the main lead of the story. Technically, he was never allowed any room for character development due to the author's will unlike Killian. Well, at least the OG's... Edith and Rhyse will go on to make a happy story of their own.
