In my opinion yes it's worth it, I'm like at chapter 300+ in the novel and so far he hasn't shown any interest to any of the girls that were revealed to have some sort of attraction to him.
No harem. To him they're bunch of kids. He's basically old.
They like him but he dont really like show any interest. He acts old too so its kinda awkward to like his classmate, i hope it stays that way.
