I haven't read this in awhile so i forgot the whole supernatural aspect lol

So... I started reading it yesterday and finished it today. It just explained that his mother died because of some accident!? And his father blamed him. This happens in the first chapter.

I think he might be the son of a shaman or inherited it from a relative. He sees golden dust and learns that it will bring good things.
