that'd be very much not interesting, we also need a strong independent female lead instead of "strong" need someone to rely on female lead. Also, if she needs to tell anyone about it, she needs to give them evidence too since FL is not trustworthy for them yet and the FL Stepmother image in front of other people is good, even her father doesn't give a shit about her
Im ngl if she actually put effort into getting help and explaining her situation to damn near anyone they probably could've arranged a situation where she can kill her stepmom and get away w it.
