Had high hopes... was disappointed

I was expecting an angst-riddled, deep story and got a slapstick comedy of errors instead. To be fair, the manga wasn't all bad. I'm just jaded by the vast number of much more refined and in depth manga I have read. The story was disjointed and felt rushed, the art wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. The toughest obstacle for me was the characters being so blah. Miki was the only character who had a personality and she wasn't even a protagonist. The protagonists, themselves, were so one dimensional that when the seme said, "I want to see all the sides of you.", I actually laughed out loud and thought, "Yeah, if they existed!" The saddest part is, this plot had immense potential to showcase so many aspects of the main characters and their growth, yet page after page was wasted on details of building design and supporting character personalities. In short, it was a slap dash, hot mess of ideas that just never gelled.
