Yeah, I see where you’re coming from, but I still find it quite slow story-wise. The characters have their own stories which makes the story not focused on our ML and FL. Also, it's been many chapters yet we don't see the complete backstory of mincheol and haesoo which I know it'll be soooo many problems when they're married. The author needed to put jay's POV in evey chapter that could've been a side story. Also, one chapter fl and ml flirt and that's all (it's like I've been wasting my time)..Idk maybe I'm just not used to this slow pacing. It really became boring tbh.

I totally understand, it really depends on taste and also the reason you get into each fictional piece to begin with. i think the pace reflects the repetition and perhaps monotony of the real world, and many people use reading as a means to escape that. personally, it is in my top interest to witness and have a chance to analyse human relationship and communication dynamic, so the realism of the pace adds a thrilling flare to this, in contrast to your usual psychological-mysteryish plot that aims to entice. and i think it's mincheol's and haesoo's complex dynamic that keeps me engaged, unlike whatever wattpad cliche is happening between taeha and haesoo which really ruins it for me. so i rely on jay's, taeha's family's and mincheol's storylines instead.
in contrast to, say, tower of god, which elaborates extensively on every little thing (albeit tastefully and intentionally) i think this story is progressing at a good, for me, pace.
Story progress is too slooooow! fight me.
