I think that's why we need the ML's pov, cause even I who likes Yurien than Vahara, i can see why some ppl feels this way. I just hope that if there will be a POV arc, i hope that it will be done correctly.
This is just conjecture on my part, but it seems the holy sword might have the added ability to read someone's heart/maybe mind to an extent if they cross blades. It could be because he clearly already awakened its ego that he was able to see/understand the person fighting the demon. Something tells me he might have first fallen for her unshakable strength to keep trying, to finally smile for him as herself not the demon. I do think he likes her more in this life after finally being able to meet the human under the demon, the one who clearly still fought for her humanity and won even after loosing everything. Its possible the holy sword knew about the time sword and helped him put two and two together that she was somehow related/responsible for time rewinding. She's never hidden her intent to save and protect people as herself, so maybe that's part of it. Y'all are totally right though, he's still kinda confusing to understand the intentions of without his pov. Even with all my conjecture the extent if his feelings still seem kinda disproportionate. Idk why he clearly has THAT strong of a love for her despite them obviously (from her pov) being strangers both before rewind, and much of after too.
I definitely ship Ecki and Vahara more! They're ACTUALLY friends vs these two who are basically just lusting after each other because they met at a ball once. AND his hair pisses me off. Why did they give him half long hair?!

I’m honestly so confused. Tbh the romance between Ecki and Yurien isn’t hitting for me at all… it feels lacking and very generic? Like the way he showed so much affection for her is confusing me cause WHEN did he have time to fall in love with her? And doesn’t she already know that he has his memories? What’s the use of saying ‘I can’t do this because he’ll get suspicious’? I honestly felt more chemistry between Ecki and Vahara than the white haired prince. It feels so… boring. Idk if that’s just me or not.
