I cant understand or more like my brain cant be satisfied or convinced with these type of plots that make the MC all of a sudden fall for someone else that is related (whether through blood or even as a close friend) to the person they were initially so madly in love with. Like you cant convince me that they no longer have lingering feelings for them. For me at least, no story has been able to communicate that transfer of feelings perfectly yet
