Anna's relationship with the ML got better (he started taking her on the bed (yes it's a big change lmao) and there wasnt as many forcefull scenes and he was a bit gentler even) but then came the red moon, Ml took Anna forcefully as soon as he woke up but then apologized for it (its the anniversary of his wife's "death" so he was on edge)

Anna discoverd that ML lied to her about the method to go back to modern world (shock, i know), she didnt have to give birth to get back, all she had to do was jump to the lake in clothes she arrived to this world (and as we all know our ML burned them after masturbatin with them.
(She found out about through Joseph who became another (female)demon's plaything, he planned escape with Anna. Asking her to meet him by the tree while he is gonna retrieve his old clothes (of course Joseph was lying and didn't wanted to risk taking Anna with him since they had only one set of clothing)
After Joseph no show, Anna went to the mansion, ML was in the dead wife's room. He assumed that Anna tried to go back to her og world, so he was in shityy mood (True was Anna didn't plan to go back now, she just wanted to see if what Joseph was saying is true, but ML didn't care for her explanation). He gave her the old diary to read, as she was reading it her memories came back (yeah, she was the wife who returned to her og world after giving birth to Swan, another shocker i know)
From the diary we learn:
-ML became demon due to his mother sacrifice, because his mother died his father hated him.
-she was summoned before her college exams, her mothet was still alive
-Ml was arrogant ass so she didnt like him at first, but he grew on her trying to make her like him.
-Anna's decision to marry him and have his child was influenced by Ml's father who hide Anna's clothes making it impossible to go back (she writes a lot about wanting to come back, and she agreed to it in desperation)
-Ml really thought that Anna finally fell for him and thats way she proposed that they should try for a baby, thats ehy her betrayal stunged that deep, cause he believed she finnaly decide to settle in this world.
-The father did all of that to grant her death wife wish, after Anna went back to her world he killed the mage that summoned her and all the documents related to the summoning and then offed himself (he hated him, so he wanted him to suffer the lost of a wife)
-Anna calls herself a sinner, knowing she will hurt ML and her newly born son but she knew that her mother has no one to take care of her
And now the total downhill: As the memories come back she starts crying feeling the guilt, starts apologizing and tries to explain. But Ml doesnt listen (shocker i know) and talks about the revenge he waited for and now that she remembers her sins he gonna really start his revenge. He forces himself at her and cuts her ankles with a blade, placing magic causing her to be never able to walk without his permission. She's stucked now on the wheelchair that only he can push, they get married, she's stucked in her old room (the dead wife's room) but can't even move cause when she tries she's in agony. The last scene is her on a walk with Ml pushing her wheelchair and their son, after the son leaves Ml forces himself on her again, talking about how she never gonna leave him and even if they die he will make sure he lives a day longer so that she will never be without him.

I love it when dark romance is actually DARK and not edgy shoujo 8/10 Ending, cus its kinda unoriginal
Okay, so I read the whole novel and unless they made a lot of changes to the plot when adapting dont waste your time.
I won't go into details unless someone wants. But the ending is shity, i know dark romances do it often. But the ending leaves you just empty, you pity the mc and hate the ml even more tho you understand him tiny bit.
He just becomes way worse than he is already and our mc loses her spirit and becomes a shell.
