Nobody is talking about the deleted review so I'll talk about it
But before that I'm going to have to go step by step but you can just skip to the third to last paragraph.
In my opinion and as everyone stated before, Haeil rejected a girl in school, she didn't take it well and killed herself. He got traumatised from that and rightfully so, and I feel like as someone who was put in a similar hostage situation around that age and also struggles with being a people pleaser, it is definitely a reasonable plotline. I feel like people tend to get angry at plotlines they aren't familiar with and a Ml having mental health issues because he regrets rejecting a woman is really rare and probably seems even stranger to people because people dont typically discuss this type of mental abuse even in reality.
And no I'm not about to explain my trauma to strangers on the Internet have a lovely day though.
Now lets talk about the deleted review! To put it simply, I think that the deleted review comes from the girl that asked him out in the first place. What do I mean by that? How can people delete reviews online? Either by manually going and finding review and deleting it OR by deleting their entire account. We can cross one thing out, deleting the specific review because nobody knows about their love reviews as far as we know for now so that leaves deleting your entire account.
What does that mean for a human to delete their entire account in this situation? Suicide, murder basically death. This would explain why Haeil feels responsible for her death because even in her eyes, it was Haeils fault, this is to the point where she left a love review and got it deleted.
Now before anyone says, "Oh but they never dated" lets roll back to the "Perfect love" review that Minjae got from the fl. Did they ever date? No, the latest chapters explain that. She simply just had strong enough feelings for him that it was able to leave a review. This tells us that the system may not just be limited to confirmed relationships. Therefore, even though the girl that killed herself never dated Haeil, she was able to leave a review because she felt that strongly about him hence leading to her review being deleted because she died.
Now why is Haeil a murderer? It's likely just that he felt responsible for her death. Why is some random ass guy calling him a murderer? I have a feeling theories, he's an ex classmate, he's a relative to the dead girl or he's the dead girl's secret admirer. I could be totally wrong like it could just be some random guy who found out about his past and is trying to use it against haeil because he has a grudge against him but those are my main theories. So what does any of these mean? In scenario one, an ex classmate who knew about the entire situation wanted to let everyone know that Haeil caused their classmate to commit suicide, if we combine that with secret admirer (or simply just a close friend) that creates a stronger motive. In scenario two, he's a cousin, brother or most unlikely father to the dead girl and hates that he moved on and wants to get revenge. So yeah these are my theories and I'm loving the story so far it's quite fun, I recommend you guys read Operation pure love for something kinda(?) Similar. It'll also make you wanna pull out all your hair lol and no I don't like the black haired Ml in that one so far but idm Haeil in this one because he's relatable lol. His plot line literally screams "this is why men dont talk about thier mental health" especially with all the hate he's getting in the comments.
Anyway peace out it's 6am lol I should get a life or end it jk I swear lmaooo *no fr jk
