It really makes you wonder if they actually cared about her. She sends word of finding a husband and being able to take care of the family. Yet the father is over there going “whoopsies, false alarm” after she found a husband. At that point, it sounds like you just wanted to get in her way and did not expect her to find a husband. Especially not as fast as she did. #－.－)
