I'm not defending the mom's behavior but she was 9, not 6. Dad not around, just might have been a tough choice a single mom felt she had to make. Son needed to get to his match, daughter might have slept through most of the time they were away. The cake was to make it up to her for leaving her alone. Was just a bad deal all around. One of those "no right answer" kind of situations, you just make a choice.
like her mum literally left her sick alone at home when she was 6 years old??? and girl still blames herself for their death- like first of all i don't think her mum was a responsible parent, in some countries it's even illegal to leave your child unattended, and for what- for other childs event. The take is- she should stay with her sick child the way she asked about it. Second thing is this bitchass aunt who blames a child even after the years being so cold to her. Her whole family is a mess it seems
