At one point I was like it's very clear that the author has decided to make the plot take a back seat to the smut and rape. Now the plot is kind of trying to come forward again. However, I'm completely lost because she didn't spend that time building the story she spent it showing us chapter after chapter of the main character being assaulted. I don't know I just feel like the more I read this the more apparent it is that the main character developed Stockholm syndrome. ( ̄へ ̄)
There's no way the MC is in her right mind if she chooses him regardless of what the ex-fiance did. I feel like the author was trying to convey to us that he's better, or that the fiance was just drastically worse than him for giving up on her. But regardless of whether he gave up on her or not, Leon is still a rapist; he's still the predator. Like she wouldn't be in this predicament, if it wasn't for him the fiance wouldn't need to save her. ( ̄∇ ̄")
