A disappointing read. Both MC and ML have insane plot armour, so after halfway through there are just no more stakes because Yoon Jay is just the big alpha daddy that he is, so nothing can go wrong for him. The plot itself fails to hit hard when it needs to, like during big reveals, and ends up falling flat. Sex scenes are unerotic because they serve as a punishment to MC. Ending is… unsatisfying to say the least. Especially because the last plot twist was very obvious from the beginning. Maybe it’s because I had my hopes too high, which is why I’m so critical.
However… Fujoking has such a gorgeous art style, and I cannot help but stare at the portrait panels. Also, MC and ML are very interesting characters, even if they are kind of tropey. (I’m looking at you, Yoon Jay.) If you have nothing better to do, please do read it as the MC and MLs dynamic carries the entire story.
