This is my first time doing a hate read lmaooo. Usually I see the trigger warnings and move to greener pastures but something about the cover art gave TRASHY POORLY FLESHED OUT EROTICA and I just had to see how bad it was for myself LMAOOOOO and it did not disappoint. I’m nursing a headache as we speak after reading this and the hate couldn’t fuel me till the end. Got to about chapter 40 and had to call it quits. So thank you for holding out I couldn’t do it.
I wass so close to dropping it too but I kept hoping that it would get better.. or maybe I was just determined to finish what I started. Either way I'm glad that the side stories were actually uploaded in a different name because I ain't reading that. ಠ◡ಠ

I read everything because why not.. but jeez.. this story was hot ass.
Firstly, I don't get how both Lean and Alexei fell in love with each other. We all get why Lean shouldn't have fallen? Like boi.. BUT Alexei too? He just up and went and then, got locked away and suddenly he falls in love with Lean just because he was pregnant. Nuh-uh. They both didn't have anything positive to fall into so why the hell did they got together in the end? The bit about them just talking in the hospital before Alexei got into a coma.. was sappy and didn't make any sense. Like it's just not how human conversation works with human emotions. I can't get behind it or empathize..
Also, not the.. Alexei is like this because— so—.. everything he did was so wishy washy even his 180 degree change was so out of the blue.
You could tell that the 'angst' part was the only thing that got this story going because everything after.. especially the 'chase' arc was just so bland like they were just tying up loose ends. There wasn't any satisfaction at all. Then, they literally put the 2nd ML as a plot device.... Like *what a coincidence that Lean was seeing a doctor specializing on that specific syndrome that Alexei was having*
Also.. Carlos.. like what the hellie? Alexei just forgiving his dad and having a hug session at the end too..?
Mahn. This is so bad.. like with all the trauma and abuse that happened in the first chapters.. the 'healing'? was just rushed so they could paint a 'happy' reunion.
I wish this was better handled because even if this was fiction, there would've been no way someone could just forgive and forget abuse. Sure, there's a lot of cases that some people can brush abuse as 'hard love' and some people could never escape from some types but this story isn't it. This story made it seem that they used it as a plot device to make it angsty.
I'm just.. mahn. Why did I read this? but all the love and hope for the author to improve with their writing and their art.
