tbh, i think this was a lot more interesting than people give it credit for. I was going in thinking the mc would be a pushover that stuck his nose into everyone else’s business for righteousness sake thanks to a poster mentioning as such.
However, in reality everything that happened was either from targeting or because of his position in the college as a jr murim police officer so he didn’t exactly have a choice.
I also thought this was probably a great way to do a murim comic and wrap it up befpre it starts to drag because although murim can be interesting, the plots and schemes are usually so intricate and delicate that by the time you’re on chapter 200 it’s not only just getting to the crux of the story but also only have way over. i get so exhausted by that point i usually end up pausing indefinitely.
Meanwhile, this one, while action centered and plot heavy, managed to do a fine job at wrapping the story up and packaging it well enough that it doesn’t get too tiring.
the one thing i will say is that it lacked any real sense of struggle with the mc and his desire for strength. usually the character would find a master and get stronger gradually, but in this it just seemed like the mc leveled up after each fight without any real sense of development. it felt sudden.

overall, though, it was a pretty good read.
