I really love this story, even though it's really long, I somehow never got bored. Novel version is better though, but I also like manhua version. It's just the novel had more explanation, and small scenes that weren't in manhua.
This one is a arc/plane farther than the current arc. Which reveals Mo Zhiyang's thoughts about ML and why he loved him. Apparently, hosts system lives a very very long lives. So much so that they begin to lose feelings and attachment for anything. This includes mc, the host of the White Lotus system.
Mo Zhiyang's POV:
~So many planes, like a fleeting moment, my heart had already died. In order to survive and get rid of the pain, he decided to bind the system at the cost of losing his feelings. Mo Zhiyang accepted that there is no free lunch in the world.
To be honest, Mo Zhiyang didn't love Shen Changliu, and his so-called love for Qi Guanyan was just superficial, but in Tan Zong, he made himself understand that he would really follow him.
In the endless lonely journey, you suddenly have a companion, you just want to do your best to hug him, love him, and kiss him.~
