Not to mention if it wasn’t her it probably would have been some one else regardless. They did bring Mao in as her shadow. The real question is how much of this is true at this point. I’m like on the edge of my seat waiting to see all the lies finally fall away and Nana have her happy ending.
I almost hope she ends up somehow going back and saving everyone at the very beginning. Though, I also hope it doesn’t go that route, or end up like Charlotte did. (Spoiler but the protag in that went into the past and basically took all the powers of every talented and rid the world of them to create a better future)
People hating on Nana and saying it’s far too late for her to be redeemed conveniently ignore the fact that she’s a traumatised orphan who was manipulated and groomed into the role of an executioner
