On one hand I respect his decision to still go abroad, but on the other hand it's kinda icky, he leaves her when she needs him the most. But if he stayed she would feel bad, that he lost his chance because of her. So yeah, if gramps recovers his decision to fly away would be good for both of them and their dreams, but if he doesn't, then Kyoko would be alone in rly dark place. Either way he took a gamble, let's hope gramps will be OK, and Kyoko stays optimistic!
