Its slowburn but its so goodddd, I usually don’t read much more shoujo highschool romance maybe because I grew out of it or it just seems so childish sometimes (which makes sense they are teens after all) but the way this manga tackles about romantic feelings, rejection, identity, makes it feel like a really good coming of age story. Otogi’s outlook on being rejected yet still embracing that feeling of both love and rejection makes me feel like she’ll be a really good role model for teens out there (she isn’t perfect of course I wouldn’t recommend the whole masking yourself typa thing) She’s a refreshing mc for sure and she’s still learning to grow and learn more about herself and ppl around her
