Bruh, that is literally the kind of trope I'm so tired of. Literally one of the major things I love for this kind of fate trope is how much it makes the relationship of the main couple so precious and special.

For stories in general or for a specific one like guideverse? Guideverse has this 'imprinting' setting to tie the esper and guide together, and although it depends on the context of which the imprint is used, guideverse in general leans more to that trope. Even when the fandom first created guideverse in the form of fanfiction, the soulmates trope ran deep, since basically sentinel (esper in Korean manhwas) and guide have their spirit animals which then unite to symbolize the bonding or imrpinting
Won yugyeom and woojoo kinda sounds the same specially when junmin said that his woojoo hyung's voice was damage when they met so maybe mc just cant say his name clearly and he's blind so i think mc would have some kind of accident in the coming chapters where they were exploring that gate he would fall into one of the cracks and be transported into the past and would meet the kid version of ml, he would realize what's happening and also realize that the space hyung was him all along bc that hyung disappearing doesnt make sense unless he got the opportunity to return to his time and leave ml in the past and ik by reading alot of esper/guide manhwas that when an esper is imprinted he would no longer have any possibility to have a high match rate with any other guides beside his imprinted partner so them having the highest match rate is kinda foreshadowing i think???
