the whole parental approvement thing really irked me too because his dad is a very horrible person, but parental approvement is also kind of a big deal in japan because its has a very family oriented view on society yg? also remember this isnt just a regular bl its omegaverse so being gay isnt looked down on since male omegas can give birth, then the bestfriend thing, honestly the only conclusion i can draw is that he didnt really take it serious because hes an alpha its kinda like how men irl dont take rape cases against men especially seriously too because they think men cant be raped something like that, i wouldnt say hes the worst but he does have his downs… just my opinion tho!

this story is okay but i always forget why im not the biggest fan of it and then i reread it and i start to remember why i don't like it. does anyone else hate that the ml is sooo desperate for his dad’s approval of his relationship with the mc even though his dad is like kind of an asshole ?? that always irritates me that he won’t tell his dad to fuck off or something and i absolutely hate how fast or how willing he was able to forgive his best friend even though the dude literally almost raped him
