We shouldn't even care if Abel is a twink, buff guy, whatever, he's not for the readers he's for Karas!!!! Abel loving Karas whom everyone saw as a monster, and Karas loving Abel regardless of what form he took is romantic af! I love them so much!!!
I remember trying to reason with so many angry readers that Abel becoming a pretty boy doesn't take away how precious he is, but so many only focused on how he's not their ideal type anymore. Anyway, I'm so happy I let it marinate a season, season 2 was super good too. I read ahead a little since there're s3 raws out, and I'm ngl I really love that both male leads are getting character developments.
(I always thought "Apel" was a typo, but finding out that's how Karas called him made me feel so fuzzy on the inside. They are soo precious ╥﹏╥) (Also if it was an intentional nickname, Apel sounds like Apple, referring to the Apple Eve ate? Abel is also the name of Adam and Eve's son so, food for thought)
P.s Making the antagonists extra superficial, only caring about the outer appearance of the King's Regas was the cherry on top. I'm so satisfied.
