I think by standard, people of the novel world mostly gorgeous, and I'm sure Lloyd himself is not ugly, but if you standing by someone like Javier whose handsomeness probably beyond even angels, standard face would look... You know, extremely unpleasant, and as far as i noticed, Lloyd only ever called ugly when stand next to Javier, but when he's alone not ss much ಥ‿ಥ

Besides the difference in art style from different artists, the orcs here are undoubtedly more sculpted than the prequel. Does this mean Lloyd is so ugly that orcs look handsome next to him? Hahaha ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
