I can explain this, because it also threw me off. It's a language and translation issue in this case. In Korean, "sexy" doesn't really carry the sexual undertone, as the word does in the west.
You can see underage idols use it as a description for their concept and no one bats an eye about it even though their society isn't very big on pda in public. So you can see the undertone and meaning is a bit different.
I think the more correct translation in this case would be alluring or handsome.
