I think its a different world. The dragon king can cross dimensions. So its probably a parralel universe. Hence the difference.
i don’t think so since u have the muscular mermaids we say in greatest estate developer and it’s the same mermaid who was the queen in greatest estate. i think it’s just different art style.
we also have the cat tribe that was talked about in greats estate too.
for the orcs i guess they can say it’s a different tribe since the dragon king isn’t located in the same kingdom that Lloyd is in.
but honestly this is just my take i could be wrong who knows.
oh i forgot to mention this came out a longggg time ago it just wasn’t translated. the reason its JUST now releasing more chapters is because it finally got picked up. there’s still like 100+ chapters that need to be translated
Hmm maybe. The mermaid queen had different character design the WBE, so it could be that they just cant be bothered with the details lmao. Also no wonder that WBE had alr ended and harvest demonlord os alr approach when dkc was published long before

DKC came out a long time ago before TGED so it would make sense that this is showing the beginning of their relationship and by the time of TGED theyve already together for a while. i think the reason ur confused is because u read TGED before DKC so your used to Lloyds timeline. oh idk if this made me sound like a dick so sorry if i seem rude i don’t mean it like that
i think i understand why ur confused. like i said DKC has been out for years. like the chapters that are being released right now, have been out for years the problem was that they just were never translated to english. it does mess with ur perception of like release time but yea if u wanna read the RAW for DKC its on webtoon i think they have the indo version. there’s like 170 chapters.
I kinda agree with the timeline theory.
It could be a previous generation of Mermaid rulers and elves, and orcs that evolved into hotties lol
(It was mentioned in TGED that the artist took liberties with their design and the love drama subplot was not in the original novel haha)
The only thing is that I’m not sure if by the time they get together, does she get immortality? Because she still looks fairly young, but I also haven’t read the novel so no idea.

Hmm i dont think its different timeline cos joseon (which was the wife’s time) happened just centuries before modern day south korea (kim suho’s time). Its more like same timeline different eras probably.

Besides the difference in art style from different artists, the orcs here are undoubtedly more pig-like than the sequel. Does this mean Lloyd is so ugly that orcs look handsome next to him? Hahaha ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Or is it because they’re from a different tribe? WBE’s orc tribe was sand and steel, and they love their workouts & protein.
Same goes for the elves, although I can give some grace because they’ve been deprived of protein as well and lost their muscles.
The mermaids are about the same style, but the ruler seems different. Unless they change rulers by the time Lloyd is transmigrated? Or is it a different tribe as well?
