I mean tbf Jules is the most level headed one in the group and would know best how he could talk this out with Sarah. It seems risky but honestly I think it was his best bet. His friends are dumb, he can't tell aurora, and going straight to Sarah before he even knows what to say is either going to end in him hurting her way more than intended or him staying trapped in a relationship with a girl who keeps refusing his rejections outright.
