I agree, though I'm not one to wish for someones downfall. It is a sad ending but them all making it out and living together isnt a hapoy ending either. Genuinely wished we saw them on equal footing. However, the ending leaves us to our interpretation, whcih means we can think of the ending however we want.
people saying that the two shitheads kicking the bucket is a sad ending.....are y'all okay in the head? Best case scenario is that MC lives and heals with time knowing that his tormentors are beyond 6 feet under and will never come for him. Everyone who thinks that a happy ending is all of them escaping must've been as brainwashed as the poor MC. I wish you a speedy recovery!
