So badly I wanted Leo to pull himself together and leave JJ alone because JJ did not deserve him. Leo deserved much better. But at the same time imaging this from a real life situation I can understand why he was so heartbroken and desperate to make it work.

I think you should give this another chance and be more open minded to it. If you overlook the sex and focus on the plot you would understand the narrative more better. Although there is a lot of terrible decisions that Leo makes in the process of trying to make up, but that only shows that Leo is human and is learning to open up to J.J. by looking back on their relationship progress. If we had to realistically think about it, getting out of a 5yr relationship can take you on an emotionally toll and not make you see things clearly when you're heart. I also wouldn't necessarily blame Leo for the main problem of their relationship, both decided to play a part in their break up. The lack of real communication is what made it difficult for them to be together and until they were able to be completely honest with each other they ended up hurting each other. If you give this manga another try I think you will like it more than you think. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

My main comment didn't mention sex cause that wasn't important. Like my reply implied, I basically skimmed over the "sex scenes" because I didn't want to watch that knowing everything is in the gutter.
It was only when I completed the story I pieced together the sex they had after the break up was just unnecessary and part of Leo not treating himself right
Communication was NEEDED. Jj gave none and dumped it all on Leo and I didn't like that. Because even towards the end or "the mending" I don't recall JJ ever realising that what he did wasnt the best decision. Breaking up with someone and putting all the blame on them when they don't even know what they did wrong? And then not even bothering to explain it? That kind of person is usually the type to simply just want out of a relationship so seeing that kind of behaviour on JJ when he actually gets back into that same relationship? Major ock
Your comment proves my points as well. Leo was the only one fighting for the relationship. My frustration doesn't come from Leo at all. Only because he doesn't see his self worth is when I was frustrated with him. It's ALL entirely JJ. Again, treating him like some kind of germ after breaking up and then not giving some kind of proper explanation will never sit right with me especially when they got back together afterwards.
I didn't misunderstand anything about this manga. I just don't like seeing miscommunication not being dealt with properly when it's the whole plot idea.
Like I said/implied earlier, JJ didn't seem like he thought he was in the wrong for how he handled that...or "communicated" at all and I simply don't like that in a person given this situation..so i think it's natural I don't like his character one bit
Then the fact that a character like that got back together in a relationship with someone who was actually willing to try/fight for the relationship? Even worse.
Im looking at this from a realistic point of view and not just a "yaoi manga" standpoint so I can't lower my standards and call this cute this time

I can see that you're upset on how the story became to be and have become attached to the emotional aspect of the plot. I agree with you with on your opinion on the way Leo had handled the situation. It's not okay to treat anyone in that manner espeacially if you have a romantic partnership with them. Can you agree with me that they both struggled to be completely be honest with one another and in doing so they created a room for misinterpretation? I feel both characters had problems with communications throughout their relationship and even after they broke up. JJ has his flaws for not communicating his problems when he was in a relationship with Leo. There are a few moments of when we see a glimpse of JJ's interactions with others and it's obvious he's not the talkative type compared to Leo. Leo and JJ are both opposite in the way they interact which is why they attract one another so much. I want to say that JJ has avoidant attachment style which is one of his insecurities that makes him suppress his emotions. We only really see JJ have a reaction when it comes to Leo. Everything Leo does intrigues him, even all the bad things Leo has done to JJ. JJ lacked initative and confidence to have a proper conversation with Leo. Leo also took JJ for granted because when JJ was trying to talk to Leo about the new opportunity to work at a different company, Leo ended up brushing him off as he was playing a game. Those types of behavior can lower your partner's confidence to confide in you and if it happens frequently you become hesistant to reach out. They both had a long history with one another where they both relied on one another for certain needs. I'm not saying you have to call this manga cute or even like this manga, but you should give it a chance and reread it. You're entitled to have your own opinion as I am to mine. Not every relationship will have proper communication and it takes a lot of effort to open up to someone even if they are your partner.
