He couldn't help it because he found Dan so endearing in that moment. If he really thought he owned Kim Dan, he would have forced himself on him like he used to. Dan rejected him and he backed off. See, we know their relationship is unrealistic and wrong on multiple levels. This is fiction, and we are enjoying how bit by bit Jaekyung is growing still VERY far from acceptance but nevertheless its progress. This is by no means an apology for the things he has done, he is working his way there and thats where the fun lies. You dont have to enjoy this but that doesnt mean the author and her fans dont lol. You dont have to read this at all, you know because author isnt gonna give up on Jaekyung thats never happening, its a romance fic after all.

For fucks sake he barely changed and just because he's not emotionally and physically assaulting Kim Dan doesn't mean we should give that mf praise and devotion.
