No frrr where is this even going?? Are they gonna reenact high school for what?? How has no one grew a backbone or maturity in the years is beyond me
in my mind it’s just going to be a replica of true beauty - dohwa will just start properly courting su-ae and then poof! eunhyeok will finally apologise and those two get back together.
I don’t WANT this to happen but I can just see it heading in that direction.
Su-ae is constantly stressing how she’s changed, but the mls are refusing to see that and constantly compare her to the past. as if it’s not been ten years??
at this point even if eunhyeok has some decent excuses, the fact that he and raim have that level of familiarity can’t be overlooked. no matter how much solace they feel in having similar situations, how could he be friendly AND in contact with the girl who A) made su-ae’s life a misery, and B) leaked the story about his dad that led to his mother almost killing herself? maybe I lack empathy, but I don’t care about raim’s so-called sob story. she was raised lovingly in su-ae’s family and she took advantage of that kindness and even tried to turn the table on su-ae and say she couldn’t save her? as if that were her job?? and she’s clearly made no progress as a person. even if it’s revealed that her and eunhyeok are siblings, their relationship baffles me.
on the other hand imo I do feel as though dohwa’s affection for su-ae mainly stems from nostalgia - like he’s sick of stardom and longs for his high school days and the su-ae of the past. that being said, I’m rooting for him to actually have a go at properly pursuing her this time, and maybe su-ae can reciprocate if she can see how genuine he is?
idk honestly at this point I’m just rooting for su-ae to get some sort of closure and move on in her life.
