There are probably better ways of dealing with the church, but you guys better name them. He can't directly oppose them, since that could cause a conflict between the royal and church factions, if he denied, then FL would be back with her ex husband, and so Leo would have no real right to intervene, and he can't just kill the pope. He's working as a spy currently, assessing the situation and trying to find evidence of misdeeds, and he s probably still holding onto the hope that his childhood friend isn't evil. So tell me what REASONABLE option there is, that wouldn't cause a war, or a "bad ending" for FL
Did we all forget that Adam can read minds? He probably knows that Leo didn't mean what he told him, and he probably knew Sofia and Lucas were close. He did EVERYTHING to protect SOPHIA, mind you. That she was going to have to go back to her ex husband if he didn't. He's a good person, but he can be more blunt about what and why's he's doing what he's doing, but be honest, even if he told Sophia, could she really do anything about it? She has no real power and now we know Lucas can't be trusted (which I figured from the jump). He doesn't know that, and he just wants her safe. It's idiotic to believe that Sophia will hate him after one harsh thing. She knows that there's probably a reason and maybe that will lead into a bigger misunderstanding, but to say that Leo shouldn't be mc just because he said he wanted her out of his life? ITS FOR THEIR OWN PROTECTION!!! Because the church has the power to hurt them currently. He's doing his own work. Lucas is a trash 2ML anyway, so Leo FTW!!!
